The NG series of Bandsaws from Femi feature a reverse blade direction which cuts 60% faster than traditional bandsaws. They also feature an innovative patented blade tensioning device with clutch for easy, correct tensioning.
The NG160ABS features Femi's patented ABS (Automatic Blade System). This allows a fully autonomous cutting cycle without the operator. The saw head will lower at one of the 4 chosen downfeed speeds and switch off at the end of the cut. For solid bar and larger sizes this allows the operator to ready the next piece of material for cutting or continue with the fabrication project whilst the saw does the work. There is also a mechanical lockout system for easy and safe positioning of the material and a safety emergency button to stop cutting. Femi say, as well as time saved, this system extends blade life by over 10%.
The cast alloy base and head provides a rigid, yet lightweight cutting platform for excellent cutting quality. The professional vice has prismatic guides like those found on lathe beds for rigidity and accuracy. The swivel head allows cutting between 0 - 45° without moving the workpiece. This is in contrast to pressed steel Evolution type TCT saws with pressed steel vices which are very difficult to mitre accurately. It has double front and rear sliding saw blade guides and come with an adjustable 500mm bar stop for repeat cuts.
The Femi NG160ABS is designed for dry cutting so no messy lubrication. The 2000W motor has digital electronic speed regulator "constant speed" with amperometric limiting device and a 2 speed switch. This allows both ferrous and non ferrous metal to be cut correctly.
The Femi NG160ABS will cut up to 150mm (6") round, 150mm x 150mm (6") square and 160mm x 140mm (6.3" x 5.5" rectangular sections.
As far as we are aware these are the only non Chinese portable bandsaws available in the UK so if you are looking for something higher quality that the SIP, Sealey, Axminster or Machine Mart level machines this should suit perfectly for not much more money.

Delivery & Returns
Items under 30kg will be shipped by either 24hr courier or 1st class Royal Mail depending on item and weight and size.
All orders will be packaged and despatched same or next day. Orders made later in the day will most likely be sent out the following day.
We use a Next Day Delivery service however this service is subject to stock, courier availability and courier area. A signature is required for courier deliveries so please arrange for someone to be in at delivery address.

If you are ordering to Mainland UK or Highlands and Islands, once added to your basket, our shipping calculator will work out a shipping price depending on your delivery post code. Delivery can take up to 4 working days from point of order but is often sooner depending on location. We will call to let you know estimated delivery date, you may be required to help the driver move the product from the roadside to your desired location, please ensure somebody is in to receive the goods as there is a redelivery charge of £30 should you miss it.

1/ Items returned under the 7 working day cancellation period
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:
-where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we'll refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred -where you are returning an entire order, we'll refund all delivery charges that you incurred -we will refund only standard shipping charges for items delivered mainland UK (excluding Highlands & islands and orders over 25 kilos in weight)
2/ Items returned under 14-day returns guarantee
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase between 7 and 14 days after delivery, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund only the cost of the item minus 10% handling charge. We will not refund the cost of delivery or other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.
3/ Any goods items over 60 kg that have incurred special freight charges are excluded and the buyer will be responsible for both arranging and the costs of the return delivery.
Refunds will be paid within thirty days of cancellation.
